I hope you have 24/7 security for that car! I bet the 4 pipes make you feel very proud whenever you're gazing at them, which is no doubt very often

V. Nice. :D
Thanks, tomorrow its getting a system fitted to it (I won't mention what for obvious reasons) that will stop it being nicked and I opted not to have keyless so as to avoid certain theft issues also.

Let me know where you get your anti-theft flamethrowers, we've had a few GTAs where I live so I'm very interested

Also are your dash inserts Shadow Steel? They look wildly different to VW's renders.

By dash inserts which bit do you mean ?, the bit around the digital dash ?, or the bit that goes all around the passenger side just above the glovebox?.
Above the glovebox and around the center console. It looks very dark and shiny in your pictures, whereas VW's renders show it more of a titanium color. Maybe it's just the angle.

Those parts are piano black as VW tends to do on the R's, its the same as I have seen on the images unless you spec the blue inserts.

Ahhhh, I thought R-line and R got the same dash inserts. So I guess mine will be the lighter silver color.

I think the black inserts look way better than blue btw, good choice ;)

I had a Scirocco R and two Golf Rs and they all had the piano black accents inside, it's a R thing I think.
