We Connect broken?

Anyone else struggling with the app this morning? Mine says sorry unable to load data.

The worst part about this is that some genius on the app team decided that when no data can be retrieved, it should show your car as unlocked with the windows open, lights on, etc. instead of just showing as "unknown".

I know. It's stupid. Is yours doing the same?

Yes and happens too frequently. I also don't understand the difference between the 2 refresh modes when you pull the page down partially or all the way to the second refresh icon and it says "hold for 3 seconds".

There's a surprise not working again. Also the notification when you entered an area on the map worked for a few days then no notification since. I give up with the app.

I updated my iPhone to iOS 13.2 this morning and now We Connect won't work.

It says "Connecting" but then says something is wrong and for one to choose an active account and still not work when do that.

I have checked the App Store for an update of the app and no update available as yet.

Just found out from the Tiguan forum there is a mass outage of the App and Portal so don't think it is related to the new update

Cheers Tigermad. I've just read that same post.

I have mine set up for Area alerts on vehicle exits from various places in case some uninvited person drives off with it.
But, as the app is down, I won't get any alerts!!!!! :(

Just as well car dealership I bought my T-ROC from, put an independent tracking device in it , which I still continue with it. :D

No problem. I use it for area alerts too. My husband picks me up from work and it alerts me when he is near so I can go and meet him. Never works now though. But it's great when it does.

No problem. I use it for area alerts too. My husband picks me up from work and it alerts me when he is near so I can go and meet him. Never works now though. But it's great when it does.
Great idea. Thanks for that. If only the Permissions part of the app was working I could add my daughter as a guest then she would be alerted when I'm coming to pick her up from work.

It sent me the notification tonight first time in ages.
