Re: T Roc Brake Shudder

I have had mooing in the rear brakes first thing in the morning. But VW couldn’t find anything wrong. What about the warranty? 9500 miles is a joke and VW should be ashamed of themselves if their cars can’t do 10,000 miles without problems. The more I hear on here the more I won’t be buying another ...

Re: Convince me to lease a T-Roc

The 1.0 is ok when the car is empty but put a bit of weight in it and you do feel it’s underpowered . Not tried the 1.6 diesel The 2.0 diesel is excellent and if motorway miles is high I would go for this. I am 6’2” and 17st and the room is fine . It’s a nice car but has some teething problems as me...

Re: Ignition switched 15 amp fuse

I used Fuse 37 (I think) which is the ciggie socket fuse behind the glove box. Switches on and off with the ignition Thanks but that one isn’t powerful enough for my battery pack. I used the rear wiper for mine . Works fine. It’s a fuse you could do without you should use and a rear wiper imo is no...

Re: Speeding up on its own??!!

Clubchamp98 wrote, “.... the main problems on the roo all seem to stem from software problems” - how can that be? As I maintain, if all cars have the same software installed when produced and only a certain percentage of those cars are suffering with speeding up on its own and in fact the roo (whet...

Re: How Does The VW T-Roc R Compare To The Golf R?

I have a t roc se and a golf se . The golf is superior in every way . Better to drive ,the trim inside is massively better. It’s just a better car end of. I only bought a t roc because the wife has arthritis and likes the higher ride. Start stop system is atrocious and uncontrollable by the driver,...

Re: Speeding up on its own??!!

It really is very poor when one of the biggest manufacturers in the world doesn't know how to fix its own cars! The faults I am hearing on this car is really putting me off buying another VW. Imagine if this fault appears on a driverless car, if it dosnt recognise it’s a problem there will be a lot...

Re: Using Accessories on a Keyless car

On my ford if you wanted to just play the radio or CD I just pushed the volume button to turn it on.
To access the menus just push the start stop button briefly to turn on.
It’s only when you hold the button down that the ignition fires the engine up.
Not sure on the roo as mine has a key.
