Re: Front Assist : no sensor view

Just to be late to this thread, yes I’ve had the same fault message. Each time in rain & it cleared within a minute. Thanks to Impala for his reading of the manual, I missed that and guess it says it all VW expect it to happen to us all.

Re: 1.0L Design White Silver

Very nice. I drove (for the first time) yesterday a car with the 1.0 engine (a Polo), and whilst that was just 65hp I thought it was a lovely engine with a nicer engine note that my 4 banger.

Re: 1.5 EVO - 1st gear kangaroo

Sorry to hear that Manxman, and I hope it is just one of those unexplained things. Time will tell I suppose. I don't know what eco mode would be doing in those circumstances, but I very much doubt it would still be in 2-cylinder mode going uphill at 60 mph. It was possibly holding a higher gear tha...

Re: What would you change for the Mk2 T-Roc?

I would prefer the headlight "on" warning in the dash not down on the switch. A decent owners manual set. Sat nav, repeat last instructions without having to hit 2 buttons on info screen ( As a point. Speed limits are displayed on the nav main screen and digl display for me) Yes, I’d forgotten abou...

Re: 1.5 EVO - 1st gear kangaroo

Now, I don’t think this is a ‘roo’ as from what I can see that is a 1st gear pull away phenomenon, but if I ask here you guys & gals will know. So my regular journey takes me over a mountain rd (if you know the island, you’ll know where I mean). A short while ago I did that run and on the uphill at ...

Re: After almost a 6 month wait now taken delivery

Looks great. Seriously, I’m yet to see a colour that really doesn’t suit the T-Roc, which is rare for any car.

Re: Rubber Mats - Secured with studs?

Was there anything you *didn’t* spec onto your T-Roc, Hawkeye?! 🤣 must be so much fun to drive. Can’t wait for mine now. Didn't get keyless (didn't want it, as it makes the car easier to steal) Be nice for you to get yours soon @twist, they are lovely to drive I must admit, so much so, I don't even...

What would you change for the Mk2 T-Roc?

Have to say that I’m a little surprised not to have received any kind of questionnaire from VW. Having never owned a brand new car before I always imagined that the manufacturer would be in touch after a month or so to see how things are going? That led me to thinking about what I would say to them ...
