Re: Mass email - 1.5 kangaroo/jerking.

I don't understand the negativity !
But it's your car, your choice of how to deal with issues, or not.

Mass email - 1.5 kangaroo/jerking.

Guys, I have posted a suggestion on the T-roc FaceBook group. It is.... 1.5Tsi owners please read.... Guys, I am looking for your support and action, not input here. Specifically to the 1.5 owners who still have the kangarooing problem, could I ask each of you to send the following email message to ...

Re: T-roc DSG jerking when cold...

Hi Guys… Here is today's latest, that's in my story so far... As you have read in my opening post on this thread, it was to see if any/how many 1.5tsi with dsg were encountering cold start/initial manoeuvering jerkiness. Several of you replied that you too are encountering this issue. You should als...

Re: T-roc DSG jerking when cold...

Mine is the 1.5 dsg SE, had exactly what you describe in the original post. I reverse about 20 yards to turn around in the morning, very stuttery/jerky at low revs. Into drive and still the same for a few seconds then it's gone and doesn't return until I leave work over 12 hours later. Will try the...

Re: T-roc DSG jerking when cold...

Guys... I didn't start this thread topic to be diversery let alone to cause any conflict between forum members. But being as I had read all pages of the 'Roo' topic, it was clear that some DSG owners were saying their cars were lumpy/jerky on cold pull always. Hence why I said it was a known phenome...

T-roc DSG jerking when cold...

I have started this thread as a spin off from the 1.5tsi kangarooing thread. I have a new (collected 1st march 2019) 1.5tsi evo t-roc sel dsg. It is the first dsg car I have driven/owned. Since collecting it, I thought it had the problem of kangarooing as known by 1.5 owners & VW, who are now correc...

Re: 1.5 EVO - 1st gear kangaroo

It seems most people report it being present from the first drive. I imagine it’s very obvious. Just don’t mistake it for the often jerky DSG, if you’ve never driven one. They can be a bit jumpy (mostly in lower gears) due to the way the dual clutch works. That said, people seem to say the T-Roc DS...

Re: 1.5 EVO - 1st gear kangaroo

I was considering buying a car with the 1.5 evo engine coupled to a dsg automatica gearbox. I'm probably going for a used/semi-new car. Is the Kangarooing problem always present since the beginning or has anyone experienced it only after 10 or 20.000 miles? Thanks for the help. Regards It seems mos...

Re: 1.5 EVO - 1st gear kangaroo

I thought I read somewhere that WLTP applies to new types of cars from September 2017 and that the T-Roc falls into the category as it was then introduced for the first time to the market. The September 2018 date applies to all new car registrations, not just new models and this distinction appears...

Re: 1.5 EVO - 1st gear kangaroo

Hi Blue30. What hoops did I jump through?... Ok here is my own personal scenario as the issue unfolded.. 1. Collected car on 6th Jan. 2. Everything was fine on the day because the engine was warm (I think) 3. Next day - Early morning start - 3 deg Cent - Experience my first Roo under the bonnet. Ir...
