My car is in the UK
It's only taken 8 months, it's almost like expecting a baby
It won't be long now until I see my little bundle of joy....
Fantastic news. It will be worth the wait!

Re: Another strange noise

Sounds like either the electric auto hold brakes or the electric handbrake. They do sound a lot louder outside the car than inside with the doors shut. Noticed in video that brake lights went off just prior to noise so it may be the noise of 'auto hold' releasing and 'handbrake' coming on as you tu...

Re: Another blinking noise

Is it anything to do with the alarm because the tailgate isn’t “locked”? :? Nope. Tailgate is fine. It’s certainly a weird sound. Almost electrical rather than mechanical that’s for sure. I couldn’t hear it in the car just spotted it checking my dash cam tonight. Just went out and did a test but ju...

Another strange noise

So got my rear brakes replaced a while back for the mooing and all has been fine since. Just noticed this noise tonight on my doorbell camera. It’s been doing it a while by the look of it, I looked at yesterday and it did it then too. Is it just the camera noise? It’s not the VW badge moving back be...

Re: Steering/Braking noise..

I experienced that same loud noise whilst reversing and breaking, sounds like a cow 'mooing'. To cut a long story short, visited dealership and escalated to VW HQ. Received weekly calls from HQ to see how things were progressing with the dealership, but it wasn't their fault. It's a fault with the ...

Re: Slight noise on reversing

Ok so got the car back after dropping it off this morning. Was a bit worried when dropping it off because found out the garage I picked is in the midst of a takeover and they only knew about it a few days ago themselves . Unfortunately I don’t have good things to say regarding the company buying the...

Re: Slight noise on reversing

Well the car has been fine last night and today so I have cancelled the booking for now unless it reappears. Can’t really afford time off sitting around and going to work late unnecessarily. I don’t think it was the moo. Maybe it was a bit of debris or nothing to do with the brake.
