Re: Wind Noise Front Windows

Hello Maxi, I started this thread way back, and in the end had to go with the dealer's analysis that it was the wing mirrors. It is still a problem for me, so much so that it takes the edge of motorway driving, and it is hard to reconcile it being the wing mirrors when it is different on the driver'...

Re: Android Auto disconnects...Shud I get a satnav?

Hello TheROC, I have a bit of input here about cables. I too wanted the Android Auto App to work in the T-Roc Infotainment Screen. I also dislike excess cables lying around so I started looking for a retractable USB A to USB C cable. Depends what phone you have whether you have a USB C, micro, mini ...

Re: Car net

Hello Tiger Tony, would this work, I am out of my depth here https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASHATA-Wireless-Network-Hotspot-Portable-default/dp/B07MZYWS34. It's "ASHATA 4G Mobile WiFi LTE USB Router, High Speed 150Mps USB Dongle 4G WiFi Router Wireless Network Hotspot, Portable LTE Surf Stick FDD-LTE Port...

Re: Car net

hello Tiger Tony, thank you for clarifying that. Do you happen to know of any item similar to the 8372 that would work, but in black. It must sound a bit trivial but I don't like the idea of a white wingle in a sea of black, just stick out. Anybody? You can't get the 8372 in black, I don't think

Re: Car net

Hello, it's about the Car-net saga, again. I have been trying to get Car-Net going for about 6 months now, on and off. It's all mentioned in earlier posts. My last idea of using an old android phone in the car didn't work as it drained the battery, and in fact stopped picking up Car-Net for no reaso...

Re: Rear wiper

I would add that the A331H is very marginally longer than the original, but it is not a problem, it fits and sweeps perfectly

Re: Rear wiper

Hello Davidf27. We too had a screechy rear windscreen - so bad you controlled it manually, meaning you would press it on, let it wipe once and then switch it off. It is easily fixable. We were initially advised to ensure everything was absolutely spotless - but cleaning the existing blade etc had ab...

Re: Car net

Hello, can I first thank both Hawkeye and Impala for their help. Due to their detailed answers, I now 'get' what Car-Net is about, and have been using it successfully today when out and about. In particular, the live traffic information could be quite useful. So, I am in. However.............. from ...

Re: Car net

Ref Car-Net and earlier posts, I have decided to compromise and have my old Sony Xperia phone in the car, the one that works with car-Net, while I learn about it and hopefully the software gets updated. So I am now driving around with Car-Net, and after all the fuss, I don't really see what it does ...

Re: Car net

Hello Impala, just read it. Thank you for taking so much time and giving this level of detail. I am just leaving Car-Net alone for a bit.
