Re: Air Conditioning Not Working

Thanks TrocAl for explaining clearly just how the climate control should be used. I can’t understand why anyone should find this difficult. If 22c is too warm then set it to a lower temperature

Re: Air Conditioning Not Working

You have had the car for 3 months and never used the climate control? Perhaps that is why it doesn’t work. Have you tried turning the dial to Lo, you should get plenty of cold air Volkswagen recommend leaving the climate control set at 22c and on all the time, and in this warm weather it will cool t...

Re: the 2 cylinder mode

I agree with Ian91 and Impala. The change to 2 cylinder and back again is imperceptible. I find the slightest downhill slope can cause the eco sign to come on, or has been mentioned, trickling along at around 30 mph in 4th gear as well.

Re: Car locks automatically whilst being washed.

Hi JAMCT please refer again to Impalas last message which is quite clear that if you unlock the car but don’t actually open any door then it will relock in 45 seconds

Re: Warm air through vents

Why have you switched everything off? If you have climate control just set it to the temperature you want, usually somewhere around 20-22C, keep it on auto and it will distribute the air as required. I never switch mine off. It heats the car up if it’s cold, and cools it if it’s hot outside Hope thi...

Re: How is your HORN sounding?

I took delivery of my 1.5 Sel in February 2018 and it definitely has twin horns. Looks like later cars only have the single horn, however how often do you use the horn? I think for me once in just over a year.

Re: troc 1.5 DSG manual

I’m not sure anyone will be willing to reveal either a Vin or registration number to you.
Maybe you could contact your dealer to see if they can help.
