Re: Chipping/Mapping a T-Roc

One problem with tuning box is - the engine ecu and dsg software have absolutely no idea of the increased values like Increased torque. As far as internal readings goes, everything at gearbox level cannot see or measure the extra torque. The purpose of a piggy back tuning is to trick the ecu into in...

Re: Drivers door mirror motor creaking.

I seem to have fixed it by using sonax silicone spray, haven't had any problems with either mirror since applying that. To those of you using wd40 - don't! - you risk making it worse, as it could dissolve whatever gearing oil is used in the internal mechanics. Wd40 is best as a disolver and not as ...

Re: Drivers door mirror motor creaking.

I have same problem with both mirrors. Last year I got my right mirror changed, however the creaking returned after less than two months. Since then my left mirror have started as well. I was in with the car for 30.000km service the other day and they recorded a clip of the sound and send to VW for ...

Re: T-Roc new upgrades soon

the T-Roc will have new upgrades soon, new diesel(2) engines and a new petrol engine, new gearboxes, new symbols as you already know and (after the summer 2020) a few more bumpers changes and of course a new version package That is a useless statement if you don't link some kind of source for the i...

Re: Remap for 2.0 tsi 4motion 190hp

It is on the way, only a matter of time before most tuners will be able to offer a remap

Re: Chipping/Mapping a T-Roc

Seems as the protocol for 1.5 tsi and 2.0 tsi have been broken, so I guess it is only a matter of time before various tuning companies will have the possibility to remap

Re: What would you change for the Mk2 T-Roc?

Compared to my previous Leon 2.0 Tdi, there's more road noise in the t-roc - also on 18" - could be the tires though. however even on 16" winter tires with more rubber, it is still more than in the Leon. Compared to my wife's new Ford Fiesta, there's quite more noticeable noise. The t-roc was deliv...
