Re: Nice Shiny Wheels

Agree with T Roo, my car has the standard 17in wheels and as the tyres are not particularly low profile have had no problems. Bigger wheels must have lower profile tyres hence will always be vulnerable.

Re: Boot liner - lower position

Well, tailored boot liners for the lower position do exist because I have one! Bought through Amazon ‘Tailored fit GLE Boot Liner 193424’ by Bootliners. Very happy with it.

Re: Hello from Belgium

If you get 17 years out of the T-Roc as well that’ll be good 😀

Re: Loose spoiler (NOTE TO EVERYONE)

Just got my letter re this yesterday. Can’t really be hassled with taking it into the dealership for check as I have had a good look at the top of the spoiler and it is currently secure. I somewhat doubt the dealer’s check would be much different. My car gets it’s service late May and I think I’ll l...

Re: Folding mirrors

You can definitely set the mirrors to stay out when parking the car up, as that is what I do with mine. I just felt that if the mirrors were always closing every time I parked up they would wear quicker. It’s somewhere in the infotainment system menus. I just use the control button when I want to fo...

Re: drivers door stuck

I would have thought the answer is to go to your dealer and have them look at it. If problem persists diplomatically request they replace the door handle/latch assembly. My car is 8 months old and over 6000 miles covered and has been fault free from delivery. Yes, the cruise control will stop workin...

Re: Wheel nut covers

I noticed a similar thing after my previous Golf came back from some bodywork repair (NOT my fault!!). It either went away or certainly became less noticeable. Something to do with how it was washed?

Re: 2 Recall's (brakes and spoiler)

Had the recall for the electronic brake done for my car a while ago now. No mention of the rear spoiler, but would probably ask for that to be done at service end of May if I get another letter for that...

Re: Ship stalking - in transit?

Don’t worry, this is normal (almost) behaviour. I followed Pegasus Ace in May from Setubal to the UK and eventually the Tyne!
