Re: What bits have you added yourself

With all these duplications, obviously developed by different teams within VAG, confusion reigns and it is hardly surprising that owners struggle to understand how it all works and fits together. As Hawkeye says, the best way is to try them all and pick out the bits that fit your needs, and more imp...

Re: How to clean the windscreen interior

I've been using my own home-made glass cleaner for years. Cheap to make, and as good if not better than most commercial glass products. To make 500ml of cleaner add 100ml of white vinegar to 400ml of de-ionised water, then add a few drops ( about a teaspoon ) of washing up liquid. Mix and fill a re...

Re: What bits have you added yourself

What do you use car-net for... I really don't get it but I am possibly missing out on something big. You’re honestly missing out on virtually nothing. Do you use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto? If so, it’s pretty much pointless. There’s an app that only works around half of the time and: lets you st...

Re: T-ROC TOW HITCH HOLE

No cover on my R-Line, and no tow-hitch, so just a big rectangular hole but it doesn't casue any problems. The hole that is being referred to is the one round hole where the towing eye screws in! All the models in the local stealerhip all have them fitted! I don't think the original post or any of ...

Re: What bits have you added yourself

I added a microfibre cloth in the door pocket...for wiping fingerprints off the infotainment screen :D it was a lot less than £15! What a coincidence ... I was about to post the same, except I keep mine in the glove box. Seriously, I've added a Huawei E8372 Wingle fitted with a Three SIM with 200 M...

Re: How to clean the windscreen interior

A decent spray window cleaner should do it and remove with a proper window specific microfiber. If the spray window stuff doesn't help I find that the old fashioned Autoglym glass polish works well ( the thick cream stuff). I tried the Autoglym glass cleaner that came with my LifeShine kit and if a...

Re: How to clean the windscreen interior

Does anyone vape in your car? That’s a very common side effect of vaping without the Windows cracked. You mentioned nobody smoking but thought I’d mention this in case you weren’t classifying the two together. Definitely not. Wouldn't even consider letting a smoker or vaper in to the car. I've had ...
