Re: Delayed build week (major)

They clearly had problems, Impala. I suspect that the original problems were associated with the 'new' WLTP fuel consumption tests. Perhaps the second problem was something to do with 'batch' production, and the 1.5 DSG was at the end of the batch list? Who knows?

Re: Standard suspension

BUT - a piece of advice for anyone who has a similar problem. After resetting the tyre pressures, I kept getting the tyre pressure warning. Then I realised you have to go into the car menu and confirm that you are happy with the new settings!

Re: My wife's new T-Roc

My wife likes people to see her coming, and so do I! Turmeric yellow is probably a bit of a Marmite colour, but she likes it, and I quite like it too. And yes, she has let me drive it, and I'm very impressed.

Re: Standard suspension

Thanks, Barnaclebob. I checked this morning, and the tyre pressures were 40 - 42 psi according to my electric pump gauge. I've dropped the pressure and reinflated to 30 psi front & back (the 'comfort' setting for the SEL) and it feels much less jarring. I feel better anyway!

Re: Standard suspension

We have just picked up my wife's 1.5 DSG SEL. The ride feels much firmer than the 1.5 DSG R Line we test drove. A bit late at night now, but I think I will check the tyre pressures and check to see if there is a 'comfort' pressure setting.

Re: Delayed build week (major)

After a 6 month wait, we finally got our T-Roc at very short notice. Build week was week 24 (10 - 17 June) so were expecting another month or so, but the dealer contacted us on 25 June to say it was arriving the next day. Still took a week or so for valeting, PDI, and personal number plate registrat...

Re: Delayed build week (major)

Finally seeing some progress. Ordered in January, stuck at stage 1 for 6 weeks, stuck at stage 2 until this moth, now at stage 3. Dealer says build week is scheduled for week 24 (next week). Now looking for a DVLA personalised plate, but don't know whether to look for a 19 plate or a 69 plate...

Re: Delayed build week (major)

Still waiting for my wife's T-Roc 1.5 DSG to move beyond stage 2, 4 months after ordering the car. I have never waited more than 3-4 months for delivery of a new car. VW is in a mess. No excuse for this sort of delay. We are considering cancelling.

Re: Delayed build week (major)

We delayed ordering our T-roc 1.5 DSG back in July last year because they were clearly having problems with the WLTP testing for the 1.5DSG, but by January we thought they were past this and orders were starting to flow so we ordered the car. But 2 months on and it seems stuck at stage 2. Does anyon...
