Re: Favorites in sat nav

Once you have an address saved as a destination go to edit the address. You will see a tick box at the top of the screen to also save it as a favourite. Dragging up an old thread I know - but where and how is the option for editing an address? I've looked in the manual and also on the screen and ca...

Re: Navigation Edit/Delete

So the wife just returned and tried holding the entry down - makes no difference. I've looked in the manual as well and can't find anything. The "man with a flag" you mention @brid - that's on my screen when you select Nav and then put your hand close to the screen and is the button you press to sel...

Re: Navigation Edit/Delete

How did you add the destinations brid? If you did it through WeConnect, you delete the destinations using the WeConnect app and then Synchronise (On iOS, Open WeConnect App, scroll down to "My Destinations" and press on that, you'll then see the word "edit" towards top right , press that, delete the...

Re: What bits have you added yourself

@b0k3h - WeConnect and MyVW were replaced by WeConnectGO to combine all the features in one place - at keast that's how I understand it. I now only use WeConnectGo anyway, being the latest release of apps from VW. https://www.volkswagen.co.uk/technology/car-net/we-connect-go On WeConnect Go you can...

Re: What bits have you added yourself

Very well explained @Impala, I was wondering how to word similar myself, but you've beaten me to it AND done a better job! I too use Car Net and find it extremely useful, especially the near real-time traffic info when using Sat-Nav. Used to use it extensively in my previous Audi's and found it exce...

Re: What bits have you added yourself

Not so much "bits added", but something i carried in my RSQ3 (as it had no spare wheel just one of those horrible foam cans) - and that is a tyre plugger kit same as this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycle-Tubeless-Tyre-Puncture-Plugger-Repair-Kit/302861587142?hash=item4683f512c6:g:1qwAAOSwUA...

Probably just some more copy/paste laziness from the VW owner's manual team of goons.
That's what I like @twist, keep it positive

Re: How to clean the windscreen interior

A decent spray window cleaner should do it and remove with a proper window specific microfiber. If the spray window stuff doesn't help I find that the old fashioned Autoglym glass polish works well ( the thick cream stuff). I tried the Autoglym glass cleaner that came with my LifeShine kit and if a...
