Re: A noob’s questions

Nope, Lumbar Support is an option, I think across the range of models.

BEATS sound system (option) is worthwhile for the additional sound you want.

Re: Interior light switch illumination

Photoluminescent tape doesn't work - been there tried that and even with the car on the drive in bright sunlight all day - diddly squat at night.

Still wondering myself if there is any "simple" way....

I can't say I have even touched the padels tbh, well maybe once 😂
You are so missing the fun then of having 300bhp on tap. On my other car - 370bhp RSQ3 - they make the car come alive, so much more fun than using the DSG box, even in Sport mode. Car just comes alive.

Re: Gear change up in DSG.

The master tech is bang on about how the gearbox (and engine as well) "learns". To be honest, many owners who spec'd the DSG box, just use it as an automatic rather than explore its features - which is fine, but the gearbox then adapts to that style of driving. The best way to get the gearbox to "ch...

Re: High fuel consumption

Nope - just had my first service on my 2.0 Tsi R-Line recently and no issue with fuel consumption in what you are describing - like you I was (and am still) getting the 42-43mpg, Why yours should have altered so dramatically I have no idea. However are you getting that reading from the onboard displ...

Re: T-Roc actual MPG

On my 2.0 R-Line (with 4Motion and DSG - car has now covered 7,750 miles), I get on average between 32-36mpg around town (depends how much start/stop and short journeys) and around 42-44mpg on longer motorway runs.
