Re: FOG LAMP

Wee bit of movement on the number plate side, probably because it's slotted in on that side and not screwed on like the other side.
Sound enough and as Swsgm30 says it's a separate sealed unit. :P

Re: T-ROC R-Line

The thing that just makes me a bit uneasy is I live in a hotter climate in spain some times when I’m driving the outside temperature can be 38c. When I was sorting out my order I had a look near the bonnet catch on all the T-Roc they had in stock. The diesels had a sticker with 5w 30 on. The petrol...

Re: T-ROC R-Line

Hi Ian You said you are working as a consultant at VW Parts and you didn’t mind answering questions? Do you know or could you find out, what the factory fill of engine oil is for a T-Roc 2.0L 190 hp I’ve ordered one in spain where I live. I know VW Recommend Castrol Edge Pro. It’s the grade of oil ...

I admired it for a second, still not sure if I prefer my color or white silver...
It's not just me then that studies every T-Roc's colour that I see to analyse if I actually picked the best colour and then walk off still wondering

Re: First unread post problem

Right, I didn't actually realise that's what the "unread posts" link did. I literally thought it was posts no one had read  If I've picked you up right, theoretically if I click on the post topic on the unread page it should skip to where I left off previously? Re: Interior light switch illumination

There's a fella by the name of worxhard on a German t-roc forum and the mods he has done to his interior lighting are top class.
Would be great to be handy

Re: Video on how to change fog/cornering light bulbs to LED

I thought I’d start a thread to make it easier for members to locate. Came across this on YouTube which will hopefully be of use to some, me included when I get around to it. https://youtu.be/vt8eoexTunM Good tutorial but maybe you should have put it on the present fog light thread? :) https://www....

Re: Interior light switch illumination

How interesting to find that Italian owners are complaining of the same issues as we have. The solution is a bit drastic, but I find it astonishing that owners are forced to go to such lengths simply because VW have made a cost saving too many. I have my Sat Nav configured to stay in daytime mode s...

Re: Max Towing weight for 2.0 TDI 4Motion

Does this mean that I don’t have to turn off the start/stop system? That's what it sounds like to me as well, start/stop probably turns off automatically when you plug in a trailer to the hitch. Obviously if you haven't already done so test it with something hitched on and see if stop/start deactiv...
