Re: Windsceen scratched, not a good first experience

After any windscreen replacement on modern cars with all the latest safety technology installed, a fully trained technician has to re-attach and setup all the cameras and sensors at the top of the windscreen for your lane assist and safety systems etc, etc to work correctly. Its a simple procedure ...

Re: T-ROC BLACK EDITION

Nice enough but not fussed on the design on the rear pillar or the big wheels with skinny rubber. Would probably not pay over the odds for it. Can't make my mind up whether the roof rails spoil its lines :? I suppose you can leave them off.

The only other slight niggle is when I reverse on my drive and then stop there seems to be a little clunk noise from the back similar to the noise the rear wiper makes when it stops. Trying to figure out what it is.
You’re hitting the garage door

Re: Windsceen scratched, not a good first experience

Hubby has driven it mostly and he hasn’t noticed anything wrong. So sounds good at the moment :-) Car looks great; stay away from kerbs! :) Can’t remember exactly but I think they developed a revised part to replace it - one with some sort of balancing mechanism I think? Who knows. Bottom line is t...

Re: Windsceen scratched, not a good first experience

There are quite a few here who know that feeling of disappointment. Imagine now how you would feel if that disappointment were to persist for the next 2 years :|

I hope your dealer resolves this for you quickly.

Re: 1.5 EVO - 1st gear kangaroo

Hi. Only driven it nervously on the M1 in stop start traffic on way back from dealers. Hopefully will tell when pulling off from cold tomorrow. I’m still getting use to a petrol from a diesel so my correct power on the pedals is a bit hit and miss until I get used it. Will let you know when I have ...

Re: T Roc Brake Shudder

I own an 18 month old T Roc, with 9500 miles on the clock, and recently experienced brake shudder. I took it to my local VW dealer, where I bought the car,and was faced with a bill of £319 for replacement. I contacted VW customer services to be informed, that as the car was outwith a 6 month period...

Re: 1.5 EVO - 1st gear kangaroo

Hi T Roo, as you seem to have plenty of time to pick at me you could scroll a little further back and see that I actually replied to a post regarding import tax and asked a question. Was not the person who brought it up or changed the conversation? Thanks for pointing this out though, greatly appre...
