Re: Engine revs feedback felt through clutch

Hi I’m guessing my first post wasn’t explanatory enough. Has anyone out there experienced engine vibration feedback through the clutch at high revs on the last third of disengagement. This is on a 1 litre SE T roc 68 plate. Wondered if it’s because of the extra thrum vibrations of a 1.0 engine. Tha...

Re: Full Detail

Its not the fact that we would do a better job, most dealers inflict swirl marks on paintwork with the process they use and would need paint correct to try and get these removed. I have seen manual car washes drop their cleaning rags on the floor and carry on using them, They also leave the wet rag...

Re: Full Detail

Canterbury vw have been servicing our cars for at least 5 years and the after service wash & Hoover has always been terrible How hard is it to clean a car & alloy wheels Complaining has always been pointless " Annoying. It's missing the point I know but I suppose as owners we're always likely to do...

Re: Full Detail

Yes I agree but it’s got to be clean in the first place. Oh absolutely. If the car isn't filthy I reckon this ought to do it for most people: 1. pre-rinse 2. jet wash 3. shampoo (using microfibre lightly) 4. rinse 5. dry (microfibre, don't rub) 6. maguiars ceramic 7. rinse 8. dry (with microfibre g...

Are you interested in buying it T Roo ? Hmmm, let me think..... NO! Cheers T-Roo, I’ll let you know if it gets to the forecourt and you could purchase a “nearly new” TRoc of shit  Has it been that bad for you? Ahhh, the question I would ask my g/f in my premature ejaculation days  Tig...

Re: How to Reject your T-ROC : Personal Experience ref the "Kangarooing" Issue

Hi niche Any knowledge on rejection after owning the car 9months ?? Rejection is possible after 9 months in imho but a 'usage' deduction might be applied i.e. for the use you have had of a (albeit faulty) car for the past 9 months. Your grounds are that there is a known fault and that you have been...

Re: T-Roc R Makes its UK debut

Mmmmm can’t help myself, I just love it! Although I agree that the black bit around the front lights does look like a barnacle that has grown there accidentally rather than a deliberate design. But what is it with all this shiny plastic lately? Everyone seems to be at it. It’s a fingerprint nightmar...

Re: 1.5 EVO - 1st gear kangaroo

I’m in a DSG though and as far as I’m aware, there isn’t really a way of overcoming the roo with an auto since we don’t control how and when either clutch engages. I think I’m going to persevere for now because if my problem can be fixed, I really want to keep the car as it’s otherwise brilliant. I...
