Re: T-ROC 'N' CROSS

I’ve got a T-roc but my wife wants something smaller for herself & is interested in the T-cross. I’ve found the T-cross posts on this site really helpful & yeah, it allows you to compare aspects of the 2 side by side. What I’d really like to see ( but can’t find any pics), is a T-roc & a T-cross phy...

Re: How is your HORN sounding?

I agree. I’ve got an SEL & the spec list states it has a double tone horn. Fortunately I’ve not needed to use it much but it’s definitely a single tone cheap horn. I’d really expect a car of that size to have a meaty sounding horn rather than something that sounds like it’s meant to be fitted to a m...

Re: T-Roc and the Internet

Quite a few people are noting that their car net only works when connected to home WiFi or a mobile as a hotspot. My car did this & would never transmit the data through to my smartphone meaning the tracker did not work & the only bits of car net that did work when tethered to wi fi or phone was thi...

Re: T-Roc and the Internet

Some of the functions of car net are dependant on having an external connection such as your smart phone or WiFi to work otherwise it just tells you there’s no connection. A few features will work independent using its own inbuilt gsm SIM card ( built inside the dashboard). This allows your car to c...

Re: 1.5 sel

Thank you for the kind comments. The white trim on the seats has kind of grown on me. I initially hated the white leatherette & the R line hadn’t been launched at that point. I nearly bought a Skoda karoq instead as it was cheaper & had a nicer alcantera trim as well as being bigger. I then drove th...

1.5 sel

this Is my 1.5TSI SEL in special solid white. Pretty standard other than the addition of led fog lights ( many thanks to SiggiGunda for recommending the specific bulbs & advice on how to fit them) & wind deflectors (Heko). Had the car now for 6 months & been very impressed with it other than a non f...

Re: Car net

Yay, seven visits to the main dealer over 6 months & my car net finally works. Turned out it was a faulty control module that controls the sos button above the rear view mirror. The main reason I wanted the car net working is due too the in built tracking device that car net provides. My car is stil...

Re: Flat folding front passenger seat

Ahh, ok. It looks like it’s only available on the European spec cars. Mine is a sel model which comes with the same seats as the sports ones ( just minus the red stripes). It’s a real shame as I’ve seen pics of the t-roc with the front seat folded flat & it’s a really useful feature for carrying lad...

Flat folding front passenger seat

Has anyone else noticed that the front passenger seat which was advertised as being able to fold forwards completely flat to extent the load area, doesn’t !. I needed to carry some large step ladders in the car & having read the car reviews prior to getting the car, was looking forward to this featu...

Re: Led bulbs for fog lights

I bought some cheap LED bulbs from eBay for £3. Looked great as running lamps but useless as fog lamps as they were only 350 lumen . I’ve since bought & fitted the same bulbs as SiggiGunda. Look great though not properly tested them out at night as fog lights as yet. As cornering lights they seem ok...
