Re: Cream roof lining

I have the 1.5 SEL without the sport pack & mine has the cream headlining which I personally think lifts the cabin. I’ve seen a showroom model with black roof lining which I thought just made the cabin feel less spacious though admittedly the dark interior does make the tinted windows appear even da...

Re: Interior quality

I previously had a Mk 7 golf gtd & was unimpressed by the amount of hard plastic in the t-roc cabin. Whilst I still think it’s blatant & shameful cost cutting by VW which I would neither encourage nor condone, in real life terms you only ever touch the steering wheel & gearstick so rarely notice the...

Re: Boot floor

The spacesaver is a skinny & looks like a motorbike wheel. You are correct Red roc in that the full size spare is still different to the alloys fitted to the car. My SEL has 18” alloys & the full size spare is a 16” steel with a thicker tyre on it. Curiously the spacesaver is a smaller diameter agai...

Re: Boot floor

If you pm me your email address I’ll happily send you the photos accross that prove the point so that you can also point out they’ve rectified the same issue for another customer. I’m now well happy that the boot depth is about 25% deeper & no longer resembles a handbag. Curiously all Sel models bui...

Re: Boot floor

I can’t figure out how to post pics on here but I took a photo of the 2 spare wheels together. The spacesaver looks more like a motorbike size tyre as it’s probably a third skinnier than the steel full size spare wheel. The big give away is that the massive polystyrene surround that fits in a n shap...

Car net

Has anyone had any issues with car net not accepting the activation code ?. I just keep getting an error message saying ‘no data link’. The car will connect to both the house wi fi & my phone as a personal hotspot but just will not accept the activation code. It’s booked into the dealers next week b...

I’ve also got the pure white but love the metallic white. That looks very nice 😁

Re: Boot floor

Just to let you know guys that VW UK finally agreed & yesterday they got the dealer to supply the spacesaver wheel after I argued that it was false advertising to state 445 litres luggage space when this is impossible with a full size wheel. From previous threads there is at least one other guy that...

Re: !.0L engine

I thought it was about £600 extra so I obviously overlooked that one as I didn’t think it was an extra £1800 on the online configurator. Maybe not quite as cheap as I thought but having driven both I’m glad I opted for the 1.5 :D

Re: !.0L engine

My missus has a 90hp 1.2 polo & we test drove the 1.0L T-ROC. To be fair it felt on a par with the polo, perfectly adequate around town & didn’t feel underpowered for town driving but you could tell it wouldn’t have much mid range torque for motorway driving. I ended up going for the 1.5 evo petrol ...
