T-Roc 2.0 TSI 190hp, MQB (EA888 - gen 3) diverter valve swap to blow-off valve.

Hi all, I've been a very happy T-Roc 2.0 TSI owner. I've been already doing some alterations to the "Clementine" as I happen to suffer from a "tuning disease" and I've been thinking into swapping the OEM diverter valve for a blow off valve. Specifically I have my eyes set on GFB blow off valve...

Re: Clementine's updates

Looks great. I am thinking of doing the same to mine. I'd suggest go with the chassis color, unless if you want red. It will be a bit more expensive (for the color) but it will worth it. Mine are painted orange but not color matched and it's too expensive to sand them and redo them. I'll just wait ...

Re: Clementine's updates

Did you paint your calipers yourself ? No, I had the company that did the wrapping of the silver details to do it. The results are nice but in all honesty I should had waited till I went for the ceramic coating, so that I'd have them painted in the chassis colour (the detailers have a painter who c...

I'll take a look at it tomorrow at the end of the day. I've got the electric boot and on mine it works also for closing it. It's just that you have to be on the back of the car an close to the boot for it to work
Shoot! I forgot to check that; I got too busy cleaning it the other day :

Does covering the from badge affect the front radar?
No, not at all. Haven't had any issues with it, and I have it covered for 2+ months and 2,500-3,000 km. :)
