Re: Infotainment advice ref "performance dial settings"

It's possible to activate the offroad dials with vcds/obdeleven but not the performance dials. They don't actually add any benefit to the car anyway, just a wee visual effect :P Fair point, though I loved the idea for those few racing times. :D :D  If the tuning levels go that high up, I'l...

Re: Infotainment advice ref "performance dial settings"

It would be interesting to figure out if this can be enabled by VCDS / OBD11.
I'd hate to replace one of the vents to install a 3rd party (though they can be more accurate).

Hey all, I know I'm reviving an old thread but did anyone of you manage to get to the bottom of this?

Re: Greetings from Amsterdam, NL!

Well it depends. On the one hand I agree but then again when I saw the price tag of the 72k euro for an R as I want it it was a bit too much for my budget. That's why I went for 1 step down; at the end of the day even if I end up "converting" this to an R it will be done over time. And as I said, I'...

Welcome to the forum, great pictures of the customisation.
Thanks BarryF! I fell in love with the T-Roc a while back and after a test drive last December it was a no-brainer. :-)
Though indeed, I feel that it needed some things to be slightly different and that's why the immediate customizations.

Re: Greetings from Amsterdam, NL!

Haha, in all honesty it's just me... I like fiddling with things and can't keep a car in an OEM state for too long.
I'll probably either sell this one eventually and get an R or it will be at a point where it will have been converted into an R.

Re: Greetings from Amsterdam, NL!

The wheels look well and I'm loving the whole car dechrome, look forward to seeing how dark your tint is on the rear light clusters 🤔 I don't think anyone on here can help you with the exhaust, this forum's members seem to keep their cars pretty bog standard :P I wish I had your enthusiasm, it both...

Re: Anyone with the embeded rear view camera in the emblem (rear logo) that painted it?

According to the manufactures workshop manual, the rear VW motif badge cannot be removed without damage ! But I'm sure someone somewhere has tackled it ok. Heres the pages from the manual to show how they recommend it to be removed :- Owh wow! You're a savior; I'm making a copy of these 2 photos (w...
