So I ordered my Energetic Orange, 1.5 DSG SEL with a couple of sensible options, tow bar, reverse camera, in March, was told delivery would be approx 3 months. I contacted the dealer to ask what was happening last week, as I was thinking delivery was due any day, they said delivery would now be July. So then emailed VW customer service to grumble, they thought that November was a more realistic delivery date.
The word from VW customer service is that delivery will be 16-20 weeks after the factory accept the order, my order has not yet been accepted by the factory.
The Dealership are claiming that VW are not keeping them informed.
I think that ordering, and expecting a 3 month lead time, to be told 3 months on that you have to wait at least another 3-4 months is unacceptable, so I have cancelled the order.
There does seem to be Audi Q2 available, DSG 1.4 petrol.
