After i turn on the car system (putting the car key in) the dashboard warning lights come up, and then fade away, but these 2 warning lights remain till i turn on the engine(and then they fade away too). Car Vehicle Speedometer Gauge Automotive design

Do you think there is a problem?

Perfectly normal. EPC= Electronic Power Control.

Should be ON when you first turn on the ignition, but should go out when you have cranked/started the engine.
IF it stays on when your engine is running (which apparantly isnt the case with yours) then take it to a garage to get it checked out-could be something more serious (or could be something less serious like a faulty sensor)

Got the same problem with my three week old car, Which has also got dampness in the rear offside lighting cluster{ Awaiting parts from Germany could take three weeks}. Meanwhile I am riding around with a defective stop/night light! Hope I don't get stopped by the police, I believe the ECP warning light may be linked to the lighting problem I have indicated.Does not fill me with confidence in the car for the future! Will have to contact my dealer to tell them about another problem tomorrow...
