Scuffed a rim yesterday and a back rim is already corroding due to a stone chip or something?
Never was a big fan of diamond cut finishes as the lacquer can give problems.
A bit early to be fixing I think

Has anyone seen t-roc's with different rims on them or sprayed a different colour?

Might consider spraying mine silver or black sometime down the line but it's a difficult one or change them completely.

Not keen on the Black wheels with the blue but I think they'd look ok on mine ... White with Black roof ;)

Watch the roads over the next few years too see how many twatmobiles there are, you might be surprised.
Black wheels are the in thing at the minute with any colour.

I do prefer the wheels that are already on it by the way 😉

I think your diamond cut wheels look great as they are (minus the scrapes ;) ). Great photoshop skills by the way! I'd get them refurbed and when your tyres need replacing buy rim protector tyres.

Agreed, nice to get a topic going though :p

The tyre actually has a protective lip but didn't do a great job

I don't really understand the appeal of black rims. They look like you had steel wheels and the hubcaps fell off.

The R-line rims are sick. I really wanted them on my SEL but no dice. Way nicer than any black ones. Don't ruin it 😝

Well personally - I like the black rims. Always have. Had them on my Alfa V6, also on my Mitsubishi Evo X. I won't change the diamond cut wheels on my R-Line, however if ever they do get scuffed, then black is certainly a consideration in the refurbishment for me.

Your car vernerbongo2, your choice. Be different.

Me - I'm just considering what colour to paint the calipers ;)

Finally someone with taste
I'm all on for others opinions though!

Ford kuga St-line is another fine example of were black rims work and as you rightly said it would be different "individuality"

Seeing a car in the flesh would be totally different to analysing photoshopped photos.

You've now opened up a "What colour should I paint my brake calipers" topic

Here's one for the white silver.
