So I'm getting about 52 on "steady runs", eg my commute which is 13 miles, 10 on dual carriageway and 3 in "urban" but with little stop/start. Factor in a bit more town driving and my overall figure so far is 42MPG. I like the multiple mpg counters you get (since start (of current journey), since refuel and long-term). Once the engine is run in and I start driving "normally" I'm going to reset the long-term counter so that I get a figure based on how I more usually drive.

Sounds about right, I'm averaging 42.5 to 43 mpg, but only done 650 miles so far. Mix of urban and faster roads. Not as good as my previous 1.4tsi Golf which did 45mpg, but not far away.

Near 400 mile trip to Wales tomorrow, that'll be it run in then 👍
