Anyone know if the Mk2 T-ROC is available with a powered Tailgate? Seems to be conflicting data, seen videos with it and specs without it!

Power tail gate is listed as standard on the MK2 T-Toc R about to be released in Australia, with all versions below that as an option. Our old model had it fitted to the 2.0 TSI model (Sports) with the base being an option.

So yes, a power tail gate is available on the MK2.

We recently ordered the new shape troc r-line and a few of the options noted on the car overview are not available to select at present - from memory this includes the electric boot, the IQ lights, beats speakers, dynamic indicators, grille light. Presumably this is to allow cars to continue to be delivered whilst there is the ongoing issue with parts?

Finally had a definitive answer back form VW. The powered tailgate is NOT available on the new T-Roc. The reply implied it might be reintroduced at a later date and, I suspect, it is a victim of the shortage of microchips.
