T-ROC is a best seller, will it stop being one?

The T-Roc was born in 2017 and soon showed that it would be a best seller. A few weeks before ending its life as it is, it continues to be a best seller that even dethroned the Golf in sales in Europe, even knowing that the current design, features, engines and prices, orders continue, but for a short time, because the successor that has nothing to do with what we are familiar with is right around the corner, as always the RHD (right-hand drive) should appear about 3 to 4 months later, so perhaps in April 2026. Let's see how the new T-Roc will be received.

I think a lot will depend on the reliability of the Mk2 as to whether it remains a good seller. The Mk1 has generally been a reliable car (kangaroo aside) and had a individual design look of it's own, whereas the Mk2 seems to have been given the 'corporate' design.
The latest WhatCar reliability survey says the new Tiguan Mk3 has 81% having faults and reading the relevant forums many have been rejected by owners.
Let's hope that VW has sorted any problems before the launch of T-Roc 2 and not left it to the public to do the testing for them, as they seem to have done with Tiguan 3.

@RedRoc I'd agree with you on the problems with the mrk3 tiguan and its mostly software, the tech is all shared throughout the vw/audi group, the the Pre-facelift cupra formentor was another one not sure if the face-lift version has these faults solved?

Too much tech and if you surveyed owners they'd be happier without it 🤷
