Yes I can echo the thanks and information regarding Bosch wipers. Fitted them last week (very easy) and so far the difference is like chalk and cheese to the originals. Well impressed

I changed both fronts for Bosch on our 2023 T-Roc - now SILENT at last (originals have been awful since car was brand new). Struggling to find correct REAR Bosch one though. Their A331H is NOT correct. Does anyone have the correct part number - or any other recommendation for a 2022 onwards vehice REAR wiper replacement?

Bosch don’t fit. I had posted this in other forum. This is working fine for me - “For those interested, this one on eBay works. Fits VW T-Roc 2022-onwards Replacement Rear Wiper Blade Direct Fit 13"G1. It is from SHS wipers. At least noise has gone but not sure how long will it last. This is for new t-roc from 2023”

Did anyone figure out which Bosch wiper works where wiper arm is open. a331h doesn’t work for my car but I want to replace the original as it is scarily noisy
I've got a 2023 MY T-Roc and both my front and rear wiper blades make that awful juddering noise.

I've been on partsinmotion website and whilst Bosch replacement front wipers will fit my T-Roc the rear one might not.

On partsinmotion website for the rear wiper it says 'Model year to: 11/2022'. I've checked the fitment on my wiper to photo on their website and there is a slight difference.

Has anyone replaced their rear wiper blade on a 2023 T-Roc?
Yes I had same problem and now peacful silence!
A331H rear wiper didnt fit for me (23 reg style) , but the Bosh A335 did perfectly.

Does anyone who uses the Bosch wiper blades find that the wiper misses the top of the screen? Like the blade can't wrap over the the top of the screen enough... It's one of the reasons I tried the Bosch blades, but ended up ditching them and going back to VW ones.

@Doc777 Try wipertech blades, I replaced the OEM ones with Bosch then went with wipertech about a year ago.
When I replaced the T-Roc I swapped out the wipertech ones with the Bosch to trade the vehicle.
Hit some rain on the new T-Roc and the same problem with the OEM blades. I then put the old wipertech ones on and notice a huge improvement.
My main issue was the chattering of the blades while wiping the screen, the actual wipe coverage was alright on all 3 blade types. May have something to do with my windscreen is ceramic coated, but the OEM VW ones should be better.

I just looked up wipertech and they’re still more expensive than I pay at the dealership for genuine. The genuine are now lasting me a year, which is all I ask for out of wiper blades

When I traded in my 2021 T-Roc I took off the Bosch wiper blades off and put the original VW ones back on with the intension to see if they were the same fittings on my new 2024 T-Roc and yes the rear one was a different fit, but the good thing is the ones that come with the car are ok and dont make that irritating noise so I will be keeping the VW ones for now. (y)

I think there was a time (long ago) when VW and many other manufacturers fitted Bosch blades as standard. Then the bean counters came along ...

Had a couple of T-Rocs now and just about to pick up an R-Line this weekend. Was at the dealership during the week to view the car and mentioned if the R-Line had better blades due to the annoying issue on every other one we've had. They confirmed it did not, but have agreed to change as a goodwill gesture as there has been a few issues in finally getting the car.

Salesman said the issue is with the cleaning fluid reacting to the rubber they use on their standard blades, and over time it degrades and causes the bloody annoying noise!

Car manufacturers put out a spec, OEM suppliers come back with quotes. It's just supply chain - there's no witchcraft involved. No different really to companies like Mahle, Meyle, Mann, Febi, Bosch, Continental etc etc etc all making brakes, fuel system components, electronics black boxes - you name it - and offering the exact same product for sale on the after-market under their own branding. Why do some cars come off the production line wearing Bridgestone tyres in a given size, but vehicles released a year later (or from a different plant) with the same size tyre have for example Hankooks? Different supply contract...

My guess is VW have chosen a very specific compound for wiper blades they want fitted from the factory. It will have its advantages and its disadvantages. The current crop of VW blades are certainly quick to degrade - the Tasmanian summer sun absolutely hammers them! I did not notice the same degree of degradation on the wiper blades of either of the B8 Passats we owned previously. The (genuine Audi) blades on my wife's A4 experience the same kind of degradation that mine do. The aftermarket blades on my son's polo GTi however do not.

But....and this is a biggie....neither my car nor my wifes have any sign of sweeping scratches caused by the blades. The Polo does. It's almost like the blades sacrifice themselves to protect the glass. A complicating factor however is that not all automotive glass is created equal, and some glass specifications are actually harder than others. But now we're getting right down the rabbit hole...

I'd certainly agree that the VW blades on the T-Roc wear out faster than many aftermarket options, but I do find it interesting that I'm the only one who mentions the lack of sweep coverage at the top of the screen for aftermarket wiper blades (every brand I've tried).

Guessing we all have different observations.

My car is just on 6 months old, and wipers are the same, like scraping a blackboard with your fingernails.
it’s unique to vw I think, as my last 2Tiguans were the same, the rear wiper being the worst.
I got round it by using rain x on front and back windows, noise stopped and wipers glide over quietly.
Shouldn’t have to fork out for new blades at 6 months old
I slid the rubber blade out of the holder and inverted them, (travel direction swopped) no more issues.... yet..
