And the issue continues, car been into the dealer for another week and now changing part of the wiring harness
This will be putting you off volkswagen big time 🤔

Possibly why the original owner moved it on 🤔

Hopefully they can get it sorted this time once and for all and you can put it behind you.
If it's not fixed this time, I don't know what you can do?

This sounds like a real puzzle to solve, but thankfully it seems to be very rare if not a one off fault.

Hope you get it sorted soon and get some extra support in terms of a courtesy car.

Good luck.

Yes thanks,
They eventually changed part of a wiring harness.
Touch wood seems fine.

I have now developed the acc/front assist fault.
Strange one, it seemed to appear after I switched from the speed limiter back to acc.
I normally never use the speed limiter either 🤷‍♂️

Tried a factory reset on driver assistance but made no difference, I think driver assistance only covers the lane assist etc anyway and it still works.

Hopefully the fault is gone tomorrow when I use the T-roc again 🤔🤞

The fault seemed to clear itself when I started it this morning 🤷‍♂️
I believe it's a software bug where it got confused when I toggled between ACC & speed limiter?

I noticed this morning it didn't seem to pick up the lines this most of the time, maybe morning due over the camera?

It does happen occasionally. The fault appears if any of the sensors impair operability of the system and won’t let you turn it on again until the car’s ignition has been power cycled. Snow on the VW badge (radar), dirt over the camera on the windscreen, etc.

It’s not really a “fault” because it’s normal and just being safe. It would rather not send you into a truck it can’t see!

I always thought the fault message would be "ACC unavailable" mine was "ACC error" 🤔

Also it was working perfectly until I used the speed limiter and then changed back to ACC, definitely no impairment on any of the sensors, radar or camera.

Anyway, I'm just glad it corrected itself 😂😷

Hmm... I can’t remember the exact message I’ve had before but actually now that I think of it, it was specifically Front Assist that failed and that disabled ACC too. Maybe your error is something different after all.
