@peterh - that photo of the cigarette lighter looks interesting, looks tantalisingly easy to remove the connector, but ........ from some other post somewhere else it seems you have to remove a whole lot of trim to get to it, which I am a little reluctant to do.

I see what you mean about how shallow the space is, hopefully that cable has enough flex to move down a bit, and also a little worried about routing the micro usb cable that is at the top, I wonder if this area has changed ? ..... the guy who developed this did not have his MY in the signature of his post.

Unfortunately my car in enroute mid ocean and doesn't arrive until mid march then pre-delivery, so can't do immediately.

I have Aliexpress wireless charger. It works like a charm.

I have a wireless phone charger which came installed, problem is I just cannot justify the eyewatering cost of a mobile phone that uses that facility, maybe it's a Yorkshire thing :o
