Are you going to run it on 98 octane?
It's a performance car & expensive, I'd be running the recommended 98 octane :P

Yes, sorry everyone goes quiet don't they as soon as the car arrives. Indeed it's here and I'm very pleased, I've got a few observations that might align/resonate with others - appreciate people's opinions, although might start a new thread on it too.

Also I've barely done 100 miles in the car because of a) lockdown and b) I'm isolating after being close to a COVID positive contact :(

Couple of thoughts though:

1. User Profiles - how do you get this to align to keys? I've turned the tick on for it, but both my wife and I have profiles now set up, but it always just stays on the last person who drove the car which is a bit frustrating. Or am I expecting something that it can't do????

2. I use Google Auto which is great and works well, but you have to tick so many boxes everytime to get it going - anyone know how to make sure it just works when you plug in your phone and press App on the screen.

3. Dash - I like the screen and all that side of things, but I can understand why people say the dash looks a bit low rent (it's mainly the top of it) - doesn't particularly bother me at all - all quality otherwise.

4. Wish I'd gone keyless in someway - but using the key is OK - just not use to it as all other cars I've had recently had it.

5. Boot Tray - anyone got a recommendation for one that fits so I can protect the boot floor? Possible dog coming to..... :S Any recommendations appreciated.

6. Speed - not driven much and still bedding it in - I find it fairly quick - but not as quick as my BMW 140i which tbh had an extra 50bhp.

That's about it for now :)

for #2, are you referring to ticking boxes on the phone or the car?
What I've done, is pair my phone with the car using BT to begin with and authorised everything there and added it as a trusted device.
I don't remember anything else that I had to do. On occasion bluetooth on the phone will ask me to give permission to the car to access my messages (SMS) which I approve again.

Cheers!

On the car - it gives the option between Android Auto and Mirror, then once you select Android Auto you then have to press another button to OK it.... just a bit long winded, just wanted to connect my phone and go...

I used this for the boot liner, it's a nice hardy material and cheaper than elsewhere. Also works very well with a Golden Retriever, went to the beach and stopped the sand going everywhere!
