I’ve had text and email alerts enabled since I got the app set up and my order was stage 3 already.

As expected, I got no notification to indicate stage 4 (build in progress).

Got both a email and text at the same time:
Volkswagen order update: Your T-Roc order no. XXX has progressed to stage 5a of 7 (in transit: left factory). To STOP login to vw.co.uk

Been almost a week now and nothing further to suggest stage 5b (on ship), or 5c (in UK port). I’m hoping these have just been missed like stage 4 was but the likelihood is that it’s still sat at Setubal port waiting for a ship.

The app has been useless throughout, nothing changes until I reinstall and even then it now just says ‘stage 5’ with no further details.

I've set up the App but also txt and email alerts. I think if you have all that you are covered. The App is just flaky....

Still NO news at all here - so frustrating! Pablo - great to hear mate - you might be first for putting up pics!!! :D

Dealer update... not overly happy - and have asked for this to be escalated now:

I've spoken with Volkswagen Brand Support again today as we have numerous T-ROC R orders that are still waiting to be assigned build weeks

Unfortunately, Volkswagen are unable to provide an update as to when the vehicles will likely receive build weeks again

Your order has been converted from Model Year 20 to Model Year 21 but the notes on the ordering system just state that your vehicle is waiting to be assigned a new week

We will keep chasing VW but please note that we'll keep in touch and keep you updated with your order

I know, it's ridiculous. It's hard to believe VW cannot give an estimate. It would be nice to know the reason why.. shortage of engines? Gearboxes? It seems to be an issue mostly with the R model.
This week should be my BW.... but it's Wednesday evening now and heard nothing. I won't believe the BW until it is actually made ....

Totally agree mate, a company this big must have more info, or escalation paths - it's beggars belief...... very disappointing - yes I get COVID and I understand that but we sit here months and months on..... no real info! :(
