Hi, Think you should maybe edit the title to "..115ps, what mpg"...

I've git a T-Cross similar size, same engine, regularly get mid 40's driven lively. I'm amazed the performance and economy on such a little 3 pot. Just after getting it had a trip from Wales to Berkshire, M4 I wasn't hanging around lets say quite fast, 46 mpg over the run both there and back. Driven more gently can easily see 50 plus mpg.

I'm confused by your description of your wife's T-Roc. You say that it is a 1.0L ,115PS, with a DSG gearbox, but to my knowledge the 1.0L only comes with a manual gearbox and the UK VW website confirms this. I can't imagine that other territories would offer a DSG with such a small three pot engine. Anyway, I have a 1.0L T-Roc Design, 6 speed manual and I get an average 51.0 mpg ( when driven sensibly ).

Drove from Luton Airport to Cardiff this morning in mine and managed to get 60mpg exactly, but was a lot of 50mph average zones on M4. In the 70mph zones I sat at 62mph.

I find if I sit at 70mph on the motorway then efficiency would be 43-48mpg.

Cant complain at all, I did the outbound journey last weekend and return today, filled up to the top before leaving last week and used less than half a tank for the 2 journeys.
1.0 TSI SEL - Pearl Black - Keyless entry - Rear View Camera - Ordered 19/11/18 - Delivered 15th May 2019.

Not T-Roc, (and not withstanding the posters confusion with what car he actually has) but my T-Cross has the 115 ps 1 litre with 7 speed DSG (DQ200), and it drives brilliantly.
