Regarding some of these very economic fuel consumptions? People are quoting their mpg figures but omitting their average speeds... Surely in order to actually qualify as “economic” the average speed (which is also indicated in the data) should be quoted. I dread to think what it must be like to drive behind some of these “mobile chicanes” with their above average real-world figures.

Further to my post of 31st May, today (being the 1st of the month) I did my normal check using the car’s data...
Long Term
1609 miles........... Average 26 mph
61.15 hours......... Average 41.8 mpg (UK)

I don’t know how this compares to other owners, but I’m more than happy with these figures...
T-Roc, SEL, 1.5 TSI, DSG, Indium Grey Metallic,
Winter Pack, Electric Tailgate.
Ordered 04-Mar-2019.
Bought 20-Mar-2019.

First results from a full fill up of the Tesco Momentum has yielded another 2 mpg over their regular unleaded.

40.7 mpg, my highest so far, driving has been much the same as usual, mainly commutes with the odd short local trip.

Back to regular for a couple of tanks then will try it again.

My 1.0 does 32.8MPG, 99% short journeys, run on Shell V-Power or Tesco Momentum since the day I got it with about 14 miles on it, now appx 2.4k miles.....same driving, same journeys over 3 years a 65 plate 1.4TSI Scirocco returned 44MPG. I don't drive it hard, had to drive it hard for 15 mins yesterday to see if it would get the idle to return to normal from 1400RPM, and it worked but felt odd to drive it hard lol.

Impressive figures Vernerbongo. Must be this enormous wheels on your car! Potsy it will be interesting to see the difference when in sport mode. When I have tried the different modes short term I have seen barely any difference in normal, sport or even eco modes.
