So did a quick wash and phew, paintwork fine. So just the couple of scratches on the windscreen.

Car looks stunning - a shame about those scratches but hopefully dealer can get it sorted for you.

Hubby has driven it mostly and he hasn’t noticed anything wrong. So sounds good at the moment :-)

There are quite a few here who know that feeling of disappointment. Imagine now how you would feel if that disappointment were to persist for the next 2 years :|

I hope your dealer resolves this for you quickly.
Speaking of disappointment... guess who has also now got the mooing brakes 🤬
:-( did they find out what causes that?
Can’t remember exactly but I think they developed a revised part to replace it - one with some sort of balancing mechanism I think?

Who knows. Bottom line is that as usual, VW knows they’re unreliable but aren’t fitting the revised part as standard because they’re a shady company who knows that’s more expensive than playing on human nature where most people will either not notice or choose to live with it.

I no longer care what the outcome of my roo is: rejection or not, I’m done with VAG. Everything they do is lazy, shady and they clearly don’t give a toss about their customers.

Cheer up twist (ha, I know I’m one to talk!) but we’re learning all the time.
As for the mooing, I think that is something they have actually worked out so ask them to sort it when your car goes in for the software update :)

The only other slight niggle is when I reverse on my drive and then stop there seems to be a little clunk noise from the back similar to the noise the rear wiper makes when it stops. Trying to figure out what it is.

Hopefully the dealer will sort out the windscreen, and good idea to run over your hubby so you get to drive more
