The first part is ready. I think it's more than a contract number :)

Bugger, mine was due to be built next week 😳. I did as my dealer yesterday as I assumed they’d be delays but he seemed to have no knowledge of any delays.
Bugger that's right I been waiting 5 months dealer rubbish I have been doing all donkey work by Web chat vw customer services all I have been told it is at EMDEN Germany dealer said couldn't find any more info that was 8days ago I think I will now cancel order t roc 1.5 white black roof dsg
Check with your dealer as there may be some cancelled orders you could get instead. I’m nearly 6 months waiting, but I’m sure it’ll be worth it!

It'll be interesting to see how the factory progresses through orders that were supposed to built during the shutdown. On Tiguan forums some of cars that were supposed to be built on the first week of shutdown have shipped. I suspect parts supply, ability to get vehicles to customers etc. will all be impacting the rescheduling. The lack of comms from VW is bad tho.

I ordered mine on 2 March 2020 in the UK and was given a provisional build week of 18. I am still at Stage 3 according to their site.

Prices have increased since I ordered but the VW site assures that you only pay the price you were quoted when ordering and my dealership assures the same with the part exchange allowance given. I wonder how long that assurance will last?
