Just seen that the Aquarius Ace has just left Setubal this morning (Sat 6th April) and is due in Sheerness on Tuesday (9th April).

I think it is then continuing to Port of Tyne, so probably up there by Thursday ish..

So, hopefully more T-Rocs on their way..

Our was only "Build Complete - In Transit" on Tuesday, so no idea if it made the ship.

Time will tell.

Is it just my imagination or do the ones that have got build dates and have ordered this year, all ordered R line?

Ps I’m on holiday in the Canaries and I’ve seen more here than at home!

I ordered my TROC (31st Jan 19) it has been with the factory for over a month now (stage 2). This morning I received a notification on the app and email saying, 'order status has been updated your order is with the factory and is currently being scheduled for production' it has been like this for a month so why am I just receiving this now? Can anyone explain this? or has anyone had the same thing?

Hi, I ordered a T roc on 20/2/19 and have already received notification that it has been built and is in transit. I’m just wondering is this unlikely as I have been looking on here and it doesn’t look as if it is usually this quick. Also does anyone know how long it usually takes after it has been built?

Hi Samc,

'With the factory' is referred to as Stage 2 in the VW order tracker and it means that your car will have an unconfirmed build week. The tracker which customers have access to doesn't show the week number, but if you ask your dealer to check the order status they should be able to provide the week number.

If you look back the history of this topic, you will find that many/most of us have been through the same situation with repeat updates from the App, emails and text messages saying the order has progressed to Stage 2 (with the factory) when it was already at that stage. The most likely explanation is that the unconfirmed build week has changed due to rescheduling within the factory but is still unconfirmed. Unfortunately it could mean the unconfirmed week has moved to an earlier OR later date.

Many people's orders have been stuck at Stage 2 for much longer than a month, in my case it was over 8 months but things have improved recently. I placed my order on 22/6/18 and was at Stage 2 until 8/3/19, during which time I lost count of how many updates I had telling me my order had progressed to stage 2. Orders will typically only progress to Stage 3 (build week confirmed) about 4 weeks before the actual build week.

Mine will close with the button in the drivers door if the ignition is on, but not with the key fob (I don’t have keyless).
Mine doesn’t close with door button, there’s no movement downwards on the switch, only pulls up to open.
Doesn’t make sense

Hi Bethany,

That would be a very good lead time, so I'm guessing that your dealer was able to assign you an existing order (dealer stock order, or cancelled order) which matched your spec, possibly with minor changes if the build week hadn't been confirmed at the time of order.

My own build week wasn't confirmed until 8/3/19 and I got the tracker update on 31/3 to say the car had left the factory and was in transit. It typically takes around 4 weeks to reach a UK dealer. When did you get the update that your car was in transit ?

The Aquarius Ace (https://www.myshiptracking.com/vessels/ ... mo-9150339) left Setubal last Saturday (6/4) and is due in Sheerness tomorrow (Tuesday 9/4), then it sails to Grimsby and finally Tyne. All of those are landing points for VW so which port your car will be landed at depends on where you live.

Ask your dealer to confirm the order status.
