In the online T-Roc brochure I have (dated 16 October 2017) it does not give mpg or emission statistics for the 1.5 DSG, so if there is a problem with the 1.5 engine mated to a DSG gearbox then it has been a long time brewing ...
Cancelled due to excessive wait: T-Roc 1.5L TSI, DSG, 2WD, Atlantic Blue, Quart/Ceramic leather, heated steering wheel, electric tailgate, winter pack, rear view camera.

I ordered my 1.5 DSG in February as soon as it became available to order. That is why I am so amazed to be in this situation now. I also cannot comprehend how the dealers don’t know what’s going on with no official statement from VW - absolutely appalling customer service!

Agreed - the silence from VW Crawley is deafening. Woeful service.

Ordered March 2018.
Was told this week that it had been brought forward from a 2019 build.
With car sales down i wonder why, surely over production is now possible to meet this reduced demand!
Come on VW, please give us an explanation.

This is absurd. Considering all the previous challenges, you would think Volkswagen would take better care of its customers.

I ordered a T-Roc at the beginning of April and was told that I would drive it in September. I have not heard of any timetable changes but the delay is guaranteed, I think.

I could accept the delay (or some delay because it's much harder to sell my current car next year than sell it now) but only if the reason for the delay is explained openly. This is a nightmare.

Ordered my wife's 1.0SE in solid white with winter pack and rear view camera on 20th April. Yesterday according to the tracker it went from "processing order" to "with the factory" Dealer has said approx delivery back-end of June, early July. We will have to wait and see.

Been here before, last two Tiguan's have been factory orders 3-4 months each time IIRC.

Just had notification from our dealer that our 2.0 SEL Auto ordered mid Feb is subject to emission retest and might not meet the quoted published data. Also as a side note it may alter vehicle tax band.
They also inform me that the lead time for "my chosen vehicle" may be extended. No mention on what time scale they are talking about!
When ordered we were quoted delivery 3rd week May, two weeks ago we were informed that we have a build week of week 20, this means as it was it was going to be 5 weeks late. Now God knows when it might turn up. Wife is not happy, no new car for her birthday.
