The new Nissan cashcow.

It's getting to the stage where there's to much technology to go wrong 🤷‍♂️

I notice the wing mirrors are mounted on the doors as are the new x-trail's.
I dread to think what damage will occur if someone clips one 🙈

Nice suv though and I love the new x-trail more.

Aren't all wing (door) mirrors fitted to the door?

In fact, who calls them wing mirrors any more ... they've been called door mirrors for yonks.

OK smart asses, fair enough 😂

Most car wing mirrors are currently mounted in the corner of the "DOOR" window.
The new cashcow/x-trail's now have them mounted lower down on the actual door skin 🤷‍♂️

Ahh now I get it but I suspect the skin is reinforced, or I would certainly hope so. If not the potential for damage is certainly greater in that position.

Maybe they should call them ERV mirrors - external rear view ;)
