Leafs in engine bay
Re: Leafs in engine bay
Yep. But the leaves are easy to deal with. It’s the small, round seed pod thingies that get trapped in the channels that are really annoying

As you say it’s not just the T-Roc that has this issue though.

Re: Leafs in engine bay
It’s first time I have come across this problem.I have had leafs collected under and around my window wipers before but not inside my engine bay.

Re: Leafs in engine bay
This happened on my previous Golf too, but so far I think the T-Roc is slightly better but the leaves are only starting to come down now.
There is a gap between the bonnet and the plastic that runs across the back of the engine compartment, and that is how the leaves get in, but my guess is that the gap is to serve some sort of purpose, perhaps to allow an airflow through the engine compartment, but I'm sure a clever boffin could have come up with a better design. After all, a piece of plastic can be moulded in a different shape at little or no cost.
