Looking in the infotainment systems sub menu and I'm just wondering how it compares to everyone elses t-roc and also what do the supported codes mean?

Never actually looked in that area of the infotainment system. I imagine the "supported codes" map to the brain unit (MIB thing) in the glovebox. They update the MIB system slightly every so often and I think those codes relate to which one is installed in your car.
My basis for this is when I looked into getting a rear view camera for my Golf, only certain MIB variants supported it and the variants had similar codes. My Golf had the oldest one so it was not supported.

That is quite an old version of the map software/database. I'm also a bit confused as the numbers in your photo match those I saw on the Tiguan forum (see V8 below), and the T-Roc numbers are different.

Never looked into updating it until you've mentioned it.Impala said:
I just looked up vw update service and selecting t roc or tiguan gave the same update versions, seems to be based on the discover infotainment system installed.
If you decide to update, I suggest you avoid using Discover Care as it is painfully slow and it failed to restore a backup when I tried it.
I have reverted to a manual download and extract to the SD card using 7-Zip, just as I did for 5 years with my Golf and never had any problems.
