Pedals

Post by Deano » Sun Feb 09, 2020 9:32 pm

Has anyone bought and fitted the sports style pedals? I have seen some online but all seem to be for LHD, wondering what the difference is and how easy to fit?

Mine already has them but I would think they easy to fit like I did to my wife's old mk1 tiguan, I purchased them for about £40-£50 and they just pull over the current pedals.

Are they worth the money? Are they just for looks or are different than the bog standard pedals and help with braking?

As others have said they clip over the pedals (after the old rubber pedal covers are removed)
I would think you would need genuine vw covers, could you trust after market pedal covers?
I'm sure someone will be a long shortly that actually has fitted them? Hopefully.

I have never looked at mine, either to admire them or just use them. As others have said, you can’t really see them any way and I can find lots of things I could spend that sort of money on without wasting it on fancy peddles.
