I’m not sure if I’m being thick. I noted people’s comments on here & read the car manual & got the plastic trim off no problem, however the screwdriver in the boot that the manual tells you to use doesn’t fit so I’m waiting to get a torx & hex screwdriver bit set to loosen the screws. To add insult to injury it took me a good 40 mins to replace the plastic surround as it’s as fiddly as hell around the centre section towards the number plate. Guess my LED fog upgrade will have to wait for my next day off 😕

I bought some cheap LED bulbs from eBay for £3. Looked great as running lamps but useless as fog lamps as they were only 350 lumen . I’ve since bought & fitted the same bulbs as SiggiGunda. Look great though not properly tested them out at night as fog lights as yet. As cornering lights they seem ok but not quite as bright as the LED ones on my previous golf gtd. these ones are 800 lumen per bulb. I’m wondering if I should have risked going brighter at 1200 lumen as the bulb manufacturer does them in 800, 1000 or 1200 lumen.

CJD mine are 6500 kelvin. They are the brightest white and travel the furthest from the car. If you go above 6500 they get more blueish and wont travel as far from the car.

Guinnessaddick, you managed to pair the color of headlights and fog lights. Did you use the LED bulbs for fog the ones that SiggiGunda presented (Nighteye) or did you use you own LED bulbs?

I brought the ones that SiggiGunda suggested.
