Now how do you expect me to sleep now you’ve told me that - I’ll have to be first in the queue there tomorrow to get them refilled

Actually on a serious note - are they filled with air or nitrogen at the factory?
Hahaaaar, I knew you'd bite. Three are filled with air and one with nitrogen. OMG sleep on that

ps no-one even knows what the spare is filled with.
:o :o

OMG the spare? Another sleepless night worrying about that too!

Basically means you can go between 33 and 38 then for the best of both worlds, that's what I would do. 😁

Haven't a clue what mines at have never checked since I got it.
I would make a point of checking them then vernerbongo2, as in what seems to be the majority of cases dealers leave them over inflated on delivery. Mine were all over the recommended pressures and no two were the same. Reset them to the recommended pressure and the car drove so much better
Just checked my pressures today and sure enough the pressure's were 40psi.
Ive made comments in previous posts as to how firm the suspension is, I'll have to see what difference 35psi now make?
Might even take the pressure down more as I'm the only one ever in the car.
You were spot on hawkeye 😉

Yes Hawkeye by name and Hawkeye by nature! 🙂

If I'd read this post from start to finish originally I should have picked up on it in the first place. 🙄

Just to update this thread with my own experience after taking delivery of my 1.5 DSG R-Line last week.

The tyre pressure label on the B-Pillar is exactly the same number (2GA 010 000A) as posted by Barnaclebob for his 1.5 SEL DSG which has 18" rims and 45 profile tyres. The pressures on my label are also (as you would expect) exactly the same as posted by Barnaclebob, despite my car having 19" rims and 40 profile tyres.

I checked my cold tyre pressures first thing on the morning after I collected the car. On one side both tyres were at 34.5 psi, while on the other side both were at 35 psi. So my dealer seems to have done a good job, or the tyres were never over inflated by the factory.

With regards to a different thread on the brand of tyre, my car is fitted with Bridgestone Potenza 225/40R19

Can you tell which spare wheel you have. The label you have displayed makes mention of a 18" unit but yours being the R Line runs on 19" rims. Is it still the 18" spare?
