I'm on my second three 24 package in my Volvo, over the 24 months used about 8 to 10 Gb. Good package, very simple plug and use.

 

Hi Tricky what USB pen drive are you using it in, did you buy a cheepy or a known name ?

 

For the big hitters that need 120GB of fast data (faster than 3G) that lasts up to a year..... another option

 

None: The Volvo has a customer SIM socket built in so you just have to provide the SIM.

Ok that's a great post to ask about how we use this? I am trying to figure out if i need an external 4g modem, or somehow I can use my T-Roc 2020 wifi to share internet. Is a usb bundle needed to access internet?

   This unit is plugged with a female usb A to male usb C adaptor cable ( 6") into one of the rear usb C ports in the car. I am using the 2 year 3 mobile 24 gig data sim. It works well and my data is now affordable. I can set the Wingle as the chosen WiFi in the car and share the connection . See car WiFi in Settings.
   

 

So you need an external module which provides car with internet and all devices connect to cars network/wifi?

I have a contract with unlimited data and can get a second sim to share my data with other device. This is why I was thinking 4g router.

 

You can do data in my R line T Roc using the built in VW system but it uses Cubic telecom data plans and the only one that lasts a year is over £70... so no thanks from me. Yes I did have to buy £50 wingle, but my data is 2 years for £35 and once I have the wingle that makes it £17.50 a year for data. I can also plug the wingle in a laptop when away for a few days.
