I note that a lot of the new T Rocs are equipped with a MIB3 discover system. Any clever people on here know if there are any upgrades that can be performed?
Hi twisttwist said:Are you sure this MIB3 is a MY21 change across the board? I don't remember seeing it in the list of changes. I know it's fitted to the T-Roc cabrio model but I don't think any other models are getting it until the facelift next year.
edit: seems you're right, the whole lineup is getting MIB3. I figured they'd cheap out on the T-Roc as usual and keep the 2.5 system it had until now.
I wonder how feasible a retrofit would be. Native wireless CarPlay would be awesome but when I looked at a MIB upgrade for my old Golf it was like ÂŁ2,000.
Oh I'm just speculating based on the other models. T-Roc has been gen 1 since 2017 so it's likely that next year could see the "facelift" model. Basically it would get a slight aesthetic revision but nothing too major. More significant changes than the yearly "Model Year" changes but not really a brand new version. Usually bumpers get changed, maybe DRLs get a new design, more creases in the bodywork, tail light cluster changes, etc. interior might get an overhaul with more storage (or probably less if history teaches us anything about VW).peterh said:Hi twisttwist said:Are you sure this MIB3 is a MY21 change across the board?
